Generally speaking, Kitchenton games are very similar to the classics. Kitchenton decks are able to stand against 4x decks in most of the games.
How Kitchenton impacts my collection?
If you'd covert completely to Kitchenton, which many of us already did, you need approximately half of your actual collection. Now, if you decide to sell half of your cards, you'll probably enjoy having immediate room and money for new cards. In the future, you will spend less on Magic The Gathering. Or, if you will, let's say you'll keep spending the same budget but on a wider variety of cards ;)
Is Kitchenton suitable for new players?
All Kitchentons' formats are very suitable for new players: Getting the cards for a deck is easier and less expensive, games are more open to different strategies, balancing the strength between a top-tier deck and an entry-level.
